The East Coast Branch of the Western Front Association is hosing its Fall 2015 World War I History Symposium on Saturday, October 24 at the York County Heritage Trust in York, PA.  The program will feature authors and speakers on several topics, including the life of General Pershing and the 1st Division’s attack on Cantigny. News & Events–Stateside: WW1 Symposium: 1915–Warfare Evolution, New Strategies and Tactics

  The WW1 Historical Association and the League of WW1 Aviation Historians is holding a WW1 Collaboration Symposium in Lisle, IL on 2-3 October.  The theme of the Symposium is “1915:  Warfare Evolution; New Strategies and Tactics” and presentations will cover a wide range of topics under that theme.  The Symposium will also feature a tour of the First Division Museum at Cantigny in Wheaton, IL; as well as vendors, reenactors and wargamers.  The event is also being structured to allow plenty of time for Continue reading →

The World War 1 Centennial Commission holds weekly phone conference calls to keep the public abreast of upcoming events to commemorate the war.  This website plans to publish the minutes at least monthly.  The minutes for 18 March, 2015 are attached.  WWICCSyncCallMinutes0318 docx (2) Readers are encouraged to dial in to these calls, which take place every Wednesday at 12:00pm and which last about 20 minutes.
